4 Secrets to Answered Prayer
Introduction: Jer. 29:11-12 NIV
11) For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
12) Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you.
Main Text:
Romans 8:28 KJV, NIV, AMP (from the baby pool to the deep end)

1. Please God: I John 3:21-22, 5:14-15 what is His Will? Rom. 12:1-2 NIV.
Relationship with Him, just like parents, pleases God.

2. Come to God with the right attitude and motive: Mt. 6:5-15, (vain repetitions: NT:945 battologeo (bat-tol-og-eh’-o); from Battos (a proverbial stammerer) and NT:3056; to stutter, i.e. (by implication) to prate tediously: (wrong motive: total lack of faith, replaced by works or volume). I Kings 18:27-29 NIV read with them.

Phil. 4:5-6 AMP, (gentleness, anxious for nothing)

3. Believe that He is: Ex. 3:13-14 AMP (I AM)
John 15:16 AMP (I AM)
John 16:23, (ask the Father anything in my name)

4. Believe that he is a rewarder of those that diligently seek Him:
NT:1567 ekzeteo (ek-zay-teh'-o); from NT:1537 and NT:2212; to search out, i.e. (figuratively) investigate, crave, demand, (by Hebraism) worship:
KJV - enre-) quire, seek after (carefully, diligently).
James 1:4-8 AMP (if you lack wisdom, just ask)
Matt. 14:28-31 NIV.(He is the rewarder, Satan is the thief) Peter was seeking to be with Jesus Christ on the water, during a storm! That’s diligence!

Are you seeking God only in the storms, or are you seeking Him when the bills are all paid, the skies are blue, and it is Sunday Morning?
Your church attendance will reflect your answer.
God answers prayers in His perfect timing: Yes, No, Wait on Me!
