Master Builders

Introduction: When we are saved, were set apart from the world and worlds system. We are a new creature/creation, II Cor. 5:17kjv. we move from darkness into the Light. The new light reveals the hidden darkness within our souls and for the rest of our life here on earth, we seek to remove the darkness within. (santification process)
2 means God uses is thru fresh revelation about:
· Him and ourselves
· Workmanship.
Today I want to explore, Workmanship.

Merrian Webster: the art or skill of a workman; also: the quality imparted to a thing in the process of making Gods hand upon you to do his work PDJ)

According to scripture God himself has planned from eternity our gifts and abilities to bring Him the glory and praise. (Eph, 1:5-6, Rom. 8:28-30)
Note: You must grasp this concept or:
World Views will confuse you, there is no karma, it is demonic in nature
Christian Demoninations rebuff /twist scripture and will:
steal your joy and trust, and will replace it with rigid hard line religion, standards set up by mens twisted ieads of what it means to walk as a Believer, in freedom.
Faction: an indistinquishable blend of truth and un-truth.
You encountered them, excessive long dresses, excessive long hair, and long sad faces.(baptized in lemon juice)
Predestination gives you freedom to listen to God and not to mans religious rules..

4 differing gifts

Garden, variety of gifts, abilities, talents.
we labour together in that work which God has given us to do, expect all our success from him, and refer the whole to his glory. We are like oxen, connected to the same yoke, with the same purpose, to please Him.

Vineyard, fruits of righteousness,(Gal. 5:22)joy, peace, influence
Rejection will be part of this, John 15:18KJV
Planting seeds to take root later, be patient ministry takes time.

Field, farm w/properly sewn field. Sewn with truth, love, forgivness
A kingdom is built in the streets, by those who are willing to leave the palace.
Prov. 24:27AMP, prepare yourself educationally, evangelistic field work, then build a church

Building (Isa. 61:3-4AMP)
· Purpose of the Building, worship, healing, gathering, fellowship, safety
· No one viewing a building who knows about construction does so without considering: it took masons, carpenters, plumbers, electricians, roofers HVAC, architects, engineers. This should also apply to your life on how you built your christianity, walk, vision, ministry.
You did not wake up a believer, it took 21 people (15 nowdays) to bring you to your knees, repent of your sins to God, not some usless priest/Father.
· Shotty workmanship will show up with shotty lifestyle, your foundation will crumble, your roof will leak, the doors to your heart for others, will sag.

Why Does Man have Value?

Why would the God of Life, who created all of heaven, stars, angels, seas, mountains, and all that is in the earth, give value to a creature that he formed out of the mud of the earth.
Why would God favor man more highly, than any other creature.
All were formed, all were created, all breathe Oxygen, that he provides, all procreate, all are inteligent and can learn and many can teach.

After studying psycology, kinesology, physics and Biblical theology, this has puzzled me for many years.

Why does man encapsulate so much value to: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

Why does the Bible clearly teach that our lives were predestinated, with election, long before the earth was formed.

View of Man
Heart: desperately wicked, (Jeremiah 17:9)
Body:dust to dust, ultimate statistic, 10 out of 10 people die
Soul:filled with wickedness, I Thess. 5:23kjv, propentisy toward evil!

Scientists tell us that our bodies are 55-78% water and chemically valued at $5.22

Rebel against authority: tower of Bable, (Gen. 11:6-9niv, languages)
Murder: First family Cain murdered Able, Gen. 4:8
USA 50 million babies aborted, their blood cries out from the soil.

Deny me when I need you most: Adam, , Peter, Judas, Romans 1, all mankind deny God.

Rape and molest one another (Tamar) David’s son. II Sam. 13

Why does man have Value?

Compare man to magnificent birds, Eagles, elephants, etc.

We are full of pride, Prov. 29:23akjv
We have a moral barrier between God and us. When were Saved the barrier is removed, than each day after that we re-erect a barrier of sin, with the bricks of self motivation, pride, sin.
We seek entertainment more that God.

One month of TV deplicts more sin than our Grandparents experienced in an entire lifetime. We become numb and desentisized over time watching entertainment to filthy language, sexual immorality, anger, rage, violent sports.

We question ourselves why we cannot remember scripture when we read 15 minutes in a 24 hour period, and have the TV on 20 hours a day.

Answer: Why does man have Value?

Because man is made in the Image of God, and after the likness of God. Regardless if you are a wicked sinner or a saint your value is the same, to God.,

The text tells us Adam was the work of 'ELOHIYM, the “Divine Plur-ality”, marked here more distinctly by the plural pronouns US and OUR; and to show that Adam was the masterpiece of God's creation, all the persons in the Godhead are represented as united in counsel and effort to produce this astonishing creature.

1. Gen. 2:7AMP, (God himself breathed life) do you love your children more than others?
2. Gen. 2:20 (no Neanderthol) perhaps after, but God only creates finished perfection.

“All intelligence in Divine Things, all depend on the state of the soul”.

When were Saved, were value added! Why?
Our great potential is beginning to be released.

He has plans for us. Jer 29:11-13NIV
11 For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

12 Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you.

13 You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.
Before you were Born Again, you did not find God, he found you. Now you have the enablement, to seek him

Value from God is a concept we must ponder to enjoy the richness of it.
Value is why God loved us enough to send his own Son, Jesus to die in our place.
We are worth it to Him. His very breath is within our lungs and he has given the true Believers a great work to do.

What is the Ultimate Need of Man?

Depending on whom you speak with:
1. World/Global Peace, yes it is very important and impacts the world we live in, but it will not effect our personal eternity.
2. Global Warming, yes it also is very important and impacts the world we live in for generations to come, but it fails to impact our souls eternity.
3. HIV/AIDS, yes millions are dying each year with this debilitating disease, but once again it fails to impact out eternity.
4. Cure Cancer, yes it destroys lives and rips famlies apart, each and every day, but once again it will not impact our eternity.

I believe solving each of these crucial issues; howbeit important would be akin to placing a Band-Aid, even an Iron Man brand over a cancerous sore.

For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold, (supress NIV) the truth in unrighteousness;

I believe God’s Word shows the Ultimate Need of Man:
1. Is for man to lay down his weapons, in the centuries long war against God and accept the Peace Treaty that Jesus the Christ signed in his own blood.

1. To take care of the problem of sinning against God.
A Personal Relationship w/God repairs/removes the barrier of sin in our lives.
Removing the sin barrier will stop the Wrath of God, instantly on mankind.

Lets break down V18:

Ungodliness: deals with our relationship to God. It is a sin against the person of God, we refuse to recogonize who God really is.
FOA believes in the Trinity: God/Father is a person, Jesus is a person, and the HS is a person.
Rom. 1:19-21NIV, (vision: Father overwhelmes our sensuality by things he made in nature, then deposits knowledge of Himself into us, conviction)

Unrighteousness: deals with our relationship to our fellow man. We each treat mankind in a manner that God does not want us to. This is a sin against the will of God.
Rom. 1:28-32NIV

Supress the Truth: If you have truth to know, you can supress it. You cannot supress what you do not know.
We all know the truth, “What man’s Ultimate need is”, but we do not want to admit it.
Rom. 1:19NIV

The rest of the chapter from V19-32 explains how man supresses the Truth of God’s Word to get around the problem of sin.

Let’s look at 2 assesments of Man:
God’s assesment of Man:
Gen. 6:5 AMP
The Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination and intention of all human thinking was only evil continually.

Man’s Assesment of Man: basically good, (Job performance Review) given enough time we will fix everything.
(God says, given enough time, they will only get worse)
Sin= the thought in the heart
Transgression= the act of the body
Iniquity= the coverup/ blame game

Man left to himself is on a slipery slope, downward spiral and will destroy everything his hands touch. (new muscle car)
Example:
Teaching OSU, leave the room, chaos in grown men.
270/71/315 with no visable Police Officers, speed, reckless operation, collision, death
Bar: 25 men, 3 women and no bouncers working that night
Black Friday: without store personal visable

Prov. 22:28 KJV
Remove not the ancient landmark,(ancient boundry stoneNIV) which thy fathers have set. (explain) without landmarks total chaos.

Repentance/Salvation is an ancient landmark set up by God Himself that the Emergent Church/Liberal Church, Word Faith Movement is trying to remove.
Do not get caught up in this energetic demonic movement, for the penalty is Eternal Damnation.

We have tried to find the Ultimate Need of Man in:
1. Nature: Occult, White Witchcraft, WICCA, New Age, Save the Earth, Go Green!
2. Religion: Long lists of rules, regulations, fasts and feasts, Demonations of Men.

The Ultimate need of man was met when God gave the Ultimate sacrifice for man on the crossJohn 3:16NIV.

Why the Urgency to Preach the Gospel?

Main Text: II Thess. 2:1-12 AMP

1. What is the rapture? 1594 (2nd Coming of Christ, not appearing) I Thess. 4:16-18NLT.
2. When will the rapture occur?
3. Who will be taken?
4. Who will be left behind?

V2 agitated as a ship at sea in a storm, This doctrine exists today. Cults (pre-trib, mid-trib, post-trib), spirit of Anti-Christ exists today in the church, it undermines the Authority of the Scriptures. (the emergent church, Word Faith movement)

V3a When will the rapture occur? Great falling away first. The Church:
either a total abandonment of Christianity itself, or such a corruption of its doctrines that renders the whole system completely inefficient to salvation. (Grainger Community Church 56% lost) (pastor said 100% saved would be a horrible situation)
In order to be saved, you must:
Believe and understand by faith: you’re a sinner, helpless, hopless. Repent of your sins, believe by faith in the Virgin Birth, sinless life of Christ, death burial ressuerction, that Jesus is the Son of God.
You must live your life at the foot of the cross to be saved, and stay saved.

V3b Evil must come and overtake to make the way for the Anti-Christ.(beast)
Son of Perdition, same name attached to Judus Iscariot (John 17:12)

V4 The temple in Israel will be rebuilt in first 42 months. (see chart) what the Anti-Christ (beast) will do: He stands against and exalts himself above all divine authority, many believe the Pope will be this man because he has exaulted himself above the church (AD 540) and the Word(1070 No marriage of priests, vs I Tim. 4:3, 1870 infallable),
But Catholocism has not denied the Deity of Christ and is the Harlot church woman in Rev. 17 and is judged for the blood of the saints it has spilled and will continue to spill, around the globe. (Jesuit priest intiation rites and guide)

V6-7 what holds back the revelaing of the Anti-Christ? (Church or HS V7)
When the church is gone, the HS moves with us.(see chart)
The HS job is to convict men of sin, without HS here no conviction equals total lawlesness of man. Jer. 17:9-10AMP
No Holy Spirit equates to no conviction (move on V11-12 later)

2 schools or camps of thought in the Church today about evil:
1. Let evil prevail so the rapture will come, “I am tired Jesus, just take me home to see Momma”
2. “Fight the evil, use your authority that Jesus paid for with his life, that more will be saved!” (Matt. 28:18-19NIV Go! Preach! Baptize! No retirement!)

(Paul fast forwards in time to comfort the scared church V2) (Thessalonians)
V8 rapture is not his appearing or coming. (clouds vs heaven open) (see chart)
Rev. 19:11-21NIV Armegeddon (see chart)

V9-10 great power of Satan

Why such an urgency to preach the Gospel?
This is why!!!
This is what this message is all about folks!

V11-12 “Therefore” who will be left behind? (there is no hope)
Strong delusion, believe a lie. All whom reject the gospel now, before the rapture, will believe a lie. Your friends, family, co-workers will all suffer thru the trubulation, be judged by Jesus himself (Rom. 2:16) and cast alive into the lake of Fire, for rejecting the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

The day will surely come when at God's command Jesus Christ will judge the secret lives of everyone, their inmost thoughts and motives; this is all part of God's great plan, which I proclaim.

Urgency to preach the Gospel. II Cor. 6:2 “today is the day of salvation”.

40.6 of the world’s population has never heard the Gospel (Joshua Project)
93,000 people die each day, without Jesus Christ
>3% of Europeans have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ (home of the reformation)
2,251 languages still do not have any of the Bible translated

It Takes Prayer To Change Things

Prayer is a humble entreaty made to God

If Jesus prayed even more should we do the same.

Jesus often went off by himself to pray.

Prayer of Faith: James 5:14-18 & Mark 11:24-25

This is what Jesus spake to the disciples after they saw the fig tree and it was dried up from the root.

Prayer of Agreement: Mathew 10:19

Prayer of Intercession: Acts 12:1-5 & Exodus 32:11-14

This is when Moses stood in the gap for the people of God when they were in the wilderness and sinned against God. By making a molten (idol) calf out of the women’s earring and offered up burnt and peace offerings.

Numbers 11:11-20

Again, Moses interceded for the people of God which were murmuring and complaining.

Numbers 6:22-27

Prayer of Blessing:

The Jews still pray blessings on their children.

John 17 – Jesus is forever interceding on our behalf.

Instructions on Prayer: Matthew 6:5-7

Prayer Jesus Taught Disciples: Luke 11:2-4

This is when the disciples asked Jesus to teach them how to pray.

Luke 18:1-7 – Pray without ceasing. We have to be persistent in prayer.

Things That Hinder Our Prayer: Psalms 66:18

Hatred, Malice, Jealousy & Any Unconfessed Sin

We must pray at all times. Prayer is one of our weapons God gives us.

Always pray in Jesus name when we pray. Plead the blood of Jesus.

Results of Prayer: Book of Esther Chapter 4

Esther and Mordecai and the Jews prayed and God turned things around for them.

Acts 12:5

When Peter was in prison, the church prayed without ceasing. God sent an angel of the Lord to free him.

Acts 16:25

Paul and Silas at midnight prayed and sang praises to God. The guard and his family was saved.

Temptation
Part One

1 :Mirian Webster: the act of tempting or the state of being tempted especially to evil : enticement

2. An enticment or invitation to sin, with the implied promise of greater good to be derived from following the way of disobedience.

Who is tempted in the Bible?
1. Man:
· Paul:, Rom. 7:14-25NIV (the things I do, I do not want to do)

· David: with his murder & adultery Bathsheeba II Sam. 11

· Moses: with his temper, weenieness, murdered an Egyptian, buried him in the sand and hid for 40 years, weenieness, could not speak so God arrainged for Aaron to speak for him. Exodus 4:14, Aaron had not seen him for 40 years and at that exact time was walking toward Moses. After they were reaquainted, called of God, and Moses never shut up after that.

· Samson: with his sexual prowless: cost him his ministry, Judgeship and his life, Judges 14

· Solomon: weakness for strange women I Kings 11, 700 wives, 300 concubines (1000 wives) cost King Solomon his relationship w/God, his kingdom was torn from him after he died.

Abraham fear and weenieness.Gen. 20 Abimeleck/ Sarah sister. Isaac followed the same patern w/Rebecca Gen. 26

Gehazi (Elijah’s servant) with his lust for wealth, Naaman II Kings 5, became a leper

John Mark with his fear, , deserted Paul and Silas in Acts 15

Peter with his lies, proud spirit, racism, Matt. 26 (denied JC), Gal. 2:12, ate with Gentiles until the Jews showed up, and he separated himself from them.

Who tempts?

Satan, From Genesis 3 to Rev. 21:3, Rev. 12:10 accuser of the bretheren.

Why do we fall prey to temptation?
TBN Christian dream: “I just want to be saved, serve God, be a great light in the darkness, and be free from temptation”.
1. Temptation, is the root of our approval in God. No temptation means no proving ground.
2. Temptation is not sin, yielding to temptation is where sin begins in our life.
3. Sanctification Process
4. We want it. Looking twice at our weakness. (taught to me by my Father)
5. Were duped into it. Were set up.
6. Were weak in some areas. (what you feed will grow strong) Generational curses, geographical cultures, Were just tired of fighting sometimes.

“Satan always wraps temptation in a package I know. “I want to un-wrap” Warren Wiersby.
We often cultivate relationships with people whom are a temptation in and of themselves.
We allow ourselves to be talked into going into situations, that are a great temptation.
We choose to pay for and watch entertainment that we know are a temptation to sin.

Part 2

What is the remedy:
1. Christ has to be the focus of our deliverance. Heb. 4:15AMP
King David came against Goliath “in the name of the Lord” I Sam. 17:45
Paul always pointed his position on Christ. II Cor. 10:3-5NIV
Because of Heb. 4:15, “He is Able”, (High Priest is un-able). We can (1)take and (2)make our filthy thoughts of temptation obedient to Christ.
1. Take: He understands. Christ already walked your road on tempting thoughts and overcame.
Do not ignore the thoughts, acknowledge them and take those thoughts to Him.
2. Make: Weigh the tempting thoughts against what Christ taught in the Word, make them obedient. We must know the Word! How do we get to know the Word?

Our stubbornness opens us up to temptation. The original Greek word for strongholds is
Ochuroma okh-oo'-ro-mah NT:3794. Which means the logic and reasoning you will use to defend your arguments and the wrong beliefs that you want to protect. (handout)
Stubbornness to the truth, is rebellion, which is as whitchcraft I Sam. 15:23aKJV.

Obey: leave them at Christ feet, using the Word against them and do not pick them back up.
We set up little idols/shrines in our heads, us. They must be demolished and set up Christ as the
head.. America is the most idolorious nation in the history of the world. (Look how much money we spend on products for ourselves)
Perhaps we need to consider taking continuing education on Biblical Theology beyond the weekly Bible study. (correspondence courses by mail/Web Ashland Theological Seminary)
1 Cor 10:13-15 NIV
13 No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it.
When Jesus when tempted, He answered Satan, “It is written” 3 times. The 3M’s: Meditate, memorize and mouth out Scripture. Psa. 19:14KJV

14 Therefore, my dear friends, flee from idolatry. (self promotion, me, myself, I)
The moment the test (tempting) begins, the way out is available.

2. Accountability: most are too proud to use this. ( I have almost given up on this doctrine)
Confession before the church asking for help. James 5:16AMP If you truly want the help, you will take the heat, better heat now than for an eternity.

In 44 years I have never encountered a believer, whom in the course of truly trying to shake a temptation (stronghold), and allowed his life to be examined, that the end result was: they pursued entertainment more than prayer/fasting on the matter, PATIENTLY!.
The body of Christ has lost the doctrine of pressing in, Ps 42:1-3 NIV
Prov 9:16-18NIV

Temptation is a known fact of the Christian Life that will pursue you to your grave.
But I believe we have touched on 3 great weapons against temptation:
Using scripture about Christ to destroy the strongholds within us
True Accountability to one another in the Body of Christ
Relentlessly pursue God for strength one area at a time.

Major Debt

Main Text: Matt. 18:23-35 AMP

Fully grasp the vastness of this debt.
Talent 75 lbs. he owed 10,000 talents. This equals 750,000 lbs of gold.
At $375 an ounce, he owed $45 billion US dollars.
Today Gold sells at $871 US per ounce.
This debt could never be paid in many lifetimes.

V23 the King forgave the debt, because of his humbleness and knowing the debt could never be settled. This parable Jesus taught represents our sin debt to God.
This sin debt was paid by Jesus on the cross for every one of us. Jesus did not just die, he absorbed the wrath of His Father toward sin on the cross.
Jesus stepped in when we were overwhelmed in sin debt, and paid the ultimate sacrifice.

Read V28-30

Why do some people in the Body of Christ refuse to forgive others?

Pride: they owe me and I am going to make them pay. When you refuse to forgive, your refusing to be under Gods:
Authority, Covering, Love. (your stepping out on your own will)
Pride has 3 steps of the downward spiral: rebellion, (I Sam. 15:23a) disobedience, death. (spiritual & physical)Prov. 15:10 AMP

The pride of rebellion cost the lives of every Israelite every man who left Egypt. 20years old and upward in the wilderness.

Why do some in the Body of Christ refuse to forgive others?

You do not realize, your just as filthy, when your walking in unforgivness.
V26, Exodus 34:6-7 NIV. Your sin of unforgivness will bring punishment, sickness, disease on your family.
You could never pay the debt you owe either, $104+ BILLION!

Why so some in the Body of Christ refuse to forgive others?

You have not accepted, or put yout trust in or live it out that your totally forgiven from God so you cannot forgive others. (Psa. 103:12-14 KJV)
In receiving forgineness we learn to walk out the freedom in Christ.
We should be so free in Christ, that forgiving others whom have offended us, hurt us, abused our bodies as children growing up, should be a joy!

Everyone in this room, in this neighborhood, in this city, and in our world has a sin debt. We owe God for our sin nature that were born with, and the sins debt we choose to accumulate each and every day of our lives.

Being set free, gives us Divine Authority to live sin free toward others. Live a Christian life of freedom, Paul talked often of this, and Jesus commanded it.

Some of this “lack of trust” in God, comes from our childhood where we were never good enough in our parents eyes. Most of us can count on one hand the amount of times our Fathers told us, “I love you, I am proud of you”.
Much of this comes from not being brought up in a healthy, godly home.
The Bible calls this, generational curses. My Grandfather was not warm towards the children, that is how I was raised, that is all I know how to be.

Many of our earthy fathers constantly reminded us of that one time we messed up.
This can warp our understanding of God. This can cause us to feel that God still holds that one sin you did in a bag in the corner and will pull it out at the last moment and use it against you.
God is not that way. That is not how true fathers/daddies treat their children.

I want to encourage you today, Jesus is here, The Holy Spirit can change you,
Right here, Right now!
This is a new day!
Whatever pain you're carrying with you each day: lay it down, give it up,
You were never designed to carry burdens alone, that’s Jesus position, not yours.

Hidden Treasure

Psalms 119:11 KJV
“Thy Word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.”

Thy Word vs my word.
In order to put Thy Word in my heart/soul (mind will emotions) first one must remove/rewrite:
Past upbringing: is His Word real, relative, relational, dispensational.
Past education: is He unapproachable, does He speak to me, does he really care about me?
You must become Sprit filled, lose demonational mindsets or roadblocks to God. You must become Sprit filled to receive fresh revelation. John 3:6-8 Spirit filled is like the wind, no boxes.
Past lies: I am insignifigant, too dirty, just a little sheep in a large flock, I can hide.

Psa. 119:105 KJV,”Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path”.
To lose my word: -John 3:30 KJV, “He must increase, but I must decrease”

Hid:
Do we hide, old newspapers, tires, coathangers, applecores, used coffee filters?
He hide precious things, cash, jewelry, coins, gold, wills, CD’s
We hide valuable things that are valuable today and possibly more valuable tomorrow.

1. But we must posess it before we can claim ownership and hide it

Memorize it (21 days to form a habit) are we learning new verses?
If you do not memorize scripture you cannot detect false doctrinte/teachings when they come, and they will come in the church. II Tim. 4:2-5 NIV

If you have the Word hid in you, the authority will be present to stop the evil thought in the mind while it is still sin and not progressed to transgression or iniquity. II Cor. 10:3-5 NIV
The Word becomes the umpire of my life.NT:1018 brabeuo (brab-yoo'-o); from the same as NT:1017; to arbitrate, i.e. (genitive case) to govern (figuratively, prevail):KJV - rule.
Col. 3:15 AMP, (let the peace of God rule in your lives)

2. A Spiritually hidden posession will materalize in your life:
Walk: Things in the earth will grow strangely dim. Rom. 12:1-2 NIV change!
Talk: you cannot posess what you do not confess, in Spiritual matters. Rom. 10:9 KJV
Vision will become center focus. You will begin to couple up with the vision of the house.
(ask what is the vision of FOA)

True Posession may cost you everything for Christ: I Kings 19:19-21 KJV.

Thy Word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.

You have to sacrifice to truly know Him, to not sin against Him.
Sins of Omission: Not doing what Got told you to do
Sins of Comission: Doing what God told you not to do.

John 7:38 KJV “He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water”.

You now have the ability to speak life!
You now have the authority to bring others to Christ!
You now have the blessings to encourage othes in the battle!
You now have the anointing to teach others, Isa. 10:27 “the anointing breaks the yoke of bondage!(gossip, homo, alcohol, porn, lust, unbelief, religion, generational curses, disease)
Anointing to teach comes with great responsibility.

Thy Word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.

Do not forget in the darkness, what you learned in the Light.
Take what you learned in the Light, and shed light in the darkness of opression and attack, we are in a war!

NUTS AND BOLTS OF A CHRISTIAN LIFE

The Bolt/fastener was designed to do something.. It may be to just hold a washer with a nut attached or hold something very expensive together but it was designed with purpose.

This bold represents each one of us. God designed each one of us also to do something in this life. The bolt is naked and useless without being attached to something and we are also.

We may all rally together and say how much we accomplished as a bolt, but when it really comes down to it, we alone, did not accomplish anything.

See there is a sin issue to be dealt with.

When Adam & Eve were in the GARDEN OF EDEN they had all the washers and a nut attached, but one by one, they were stripped away to where we are today. Naked and without God.

First lets take care of the SIN issue.

If we never lied or stole or gambled, we would still have a SIN NATURE to be dealt with. When we are born, we have SIN in each one of our CELLS in our body. We received this from ADAM AND EVE. Rom. 5:12.

Romans 3:23: Says, “All have sinned and come short of the Glory of God”

Exodus 34:7 Tells us how the sin is followed through the generations from the sins of your parents. “(alcoholism, promiscuous lifestyle, homosexually, bad temper etc)

II Cor. 4:4 Tells us Satan BLINDS the minds of the lost.

Sin is like BODY ODOR, we can’t seem to detect it on ourselves, BUT we sure can detect it on others!

1. I John 1:9, “If we confess our sins he is faithful and just to forgive our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness”
John 3:16, “For GOD so loved the world, he gave his only begotten SON that whosoever believes in him should not( should) perish but have everlasting life.
Those of us who have accepted JESUS CHRIST AS SAVIOR, lets signify salvation trait in our lives by putting the WHITE washer on the bolt.

The second TRAIT we need to learn is TRUST (faith) Build our Faith
We need to strive to TRUST JESUS with our LIVES

Matt 6:30, Read (God clothes the fields and he will take care of you)
I Peter 5:7, Tells us “To cast ALL your cares upon HIM”

Psalms 50:15, “Call upon ME in the day of TROUBLE”

Psalms 34:7, “The ANGEL of the Lord encampeth around those who LOVE HIM”

Rom. 10:17, “Faith cometh by HEARING, HEARING by READING the Word”

Let’s show TRUST by putting on the RED washer.

The Third TRAIT we need to have is LOVE.

We have to have 2 KINDS of Love.
1. LOVE FOR GOD
2. LOVE FOR MAN

The Love or hunger for God should grow each day as we learn to trust Him more and more with our lives. As we read His word he speaks to us and we will grow to APPRECIATE WHAT HE HAS DONE FOR US.

I Pet 2:7-10 (chosen people, royal priesthood, holy nation, belonging to God (the Jews were chosen, but they rejected Jesus, now were chosen) Rom. 11, we are grafted in. John 15.

The LOVE for each other is special. Not like the WORLDS Love, that has strings attached. Our love needs to be AGAPE Love. The kind where you think of others more than yourselves. The kind of LOVE Jesus talks about where you would give your LIVE for another, AS HE DID!

John 13:34-35 love one another, my disciples if you love one another.

Lets put the BLUE washer on signifying the LOVE need to have IN US!

The 4th TRAIT we need to have is PRAYER

I Thessalonians 5:17 tells us to “Pray without ceasing”
I have told you how I KEEP SHORT ACCOUNTS WITH GOD. (all day, all night)

James 5:16, confess hidden sin causes sickness, prayers are effective and powerful.

Jesus rose early before it was light outside to PRAY to His Father. We need to follow this same example. Do not try to give him what is left at the end of the day and expect to live a VICTORIOUS LIFE. Never met a powerful preacher yet whom waited till the end of the day to pray to God, and spend an hour alone with Him.

Gods word tells us to MAKE a Prayer closet where we can go to get away from the JUNK that will ROB you of the BLESSING OF PRAYER.

Lets put the Prayer TRAIT in our life by the ORANGE washer.

The next TRAIT we need in our lives is FORGIVENESS

Luke 7:47 (washed his feet with her tears, dried His feet with her hair, alabaster box broken on Jesus feet)401k, all she had to live on in her advanced years on earth.
(“loved much”, her love for JC, was the evidence that she had been forgiven, not the reason for her forgiveness) good, lovely people will fill up hell without Jesus.,
That is, A man's love to God will be in proportion to the obligations he feels himself under to the bounty of his Maker.

The Lords prayer tells us to forgive others as they forgive us. We should PORTRAY this lifestyle. FORGIVENESS always in every circumstance.

Gods Word says:

It does not matter what horrible event/events occurred in your past.
It does not matter who has beaten you up in the past.
Jesus forgave us when he was innocently DYING on the CROSS for our sins and unforgiveness of others.

When we truly forgive others and CRY out to GOD for Strength to forgive others,
The Holy Spirit will change our hearts/souls.
It is not easy
But it can be done
That is when the HEALING starts.

Let me ask you something:

Let’s say your Father or Mother sexually abused you for YEARS.
Now they live in another town or another STATE.
Or they have died.
You haven’t forgiven them for the HORRIBLE THINGS they did to you.
Your nights are filled with terrible dreams. Possibly involving snakes.
Your relationships with others are GUARDED at best.
You may not even be able to keep a steady job.

Now tell me, Who is in the PRISON of the past?
YOU?
THEY?

Unforgiveness will cause:
Ulcers,
Cancer, Arthritis, strange unexplained attacks of disease on your body,
DEATH

It does this by tearing down the IMMUNE SYSTEM in your body which normally fights off the diseases that SATAN puts upon you, because you give him the legal grounds to attack you.
Unforgiveness is sin!

“I have decided to stick with Love. Hate is too great a burden to bear” MLK Jr.

Let’s put the TRAIT of FORGIVENESS on with the YELLOW washer.

The LAST part is the NUT.
This nut represents the HOLY SPIRIT.
Man is ruined by sin,
Man is redeemed by Christ
Man is regenerated by the Holy Spirit

Eph 1:13-14 (seals us)

HS job is to:
Challenge us,
Convict us,
Change us,

Let’s put the Trait of the Holy Spirit indwelling each of us, with the NUT.

Carry this complete Christian package in your purse, wallet to remind you of the traits we all should proclaim to the lost world around us as believers..

COMMUNION
The Lord’s Supper

2 somber things come to mind when I meditate on Communion:

Privilege (God’s part, provided by Him, thru the finished work of the cross)
Responsibility (Our part, provided by our obedience to Him)

READ: I Cor. 11:23-32 NIV
At the end of His earthly ministry Jesus gave us 2 important commands:
1. Do this in remembrance of me V24.
2. Go make disciples, not converts! KJV: teach, you cannot teach without being a disciple! (Matt. 28:18-19NIV)
NT:3100 matheteuo (math-ayt-yoo'-o); from NT:3101; intransitively, to become a pupil; transitively, to disciple, i.e. enroll as scholar:
KJV - be disciple, instruct, teach. If you read the KJV in original Greek

Communion has nothing to do with salvation, (Roman Catholicism lies) it is a command from JC to remember HIM and what he did for us. (John 14:15 obey my commands) (memorial service for what was accomplished on the cross)

V24. His body was broken for you: (STRIPES=sickness & disease)

Psa. 103:3 NIV

V25. New Covenant, His BLOOD seals a New Covenant.
Jesus removed all the old Levitical Law barriers, and brought in Abba Father, personal relationship. No more Levitical Priests,

Heb. 8:5-13, 9:15 NIV(JC is the only mediator)
No one qualifies as a mediator unless he is all God and all man.

V28 Examine ourselves? (Rev. 1:6 KJV) Yes! No more barriers, hierarchy. No more going to a priest to be examined, were the priests/kings.

V29. DISCERNING
Not recognizing whom JC really is.
Without recognition that JC is inside of you when you choose to sin.
Without recognition taking JC into a establishment where he is not present, or welcome.

V30. Take communion very seriously, God does.

V32. I Pet. 4:17 NIV. JC is purging the sin from us, and the church, we are commanded to be separate/different from the world in our, standards, beliefs, conduct.

(Salvation of unsaved are present)
JEREMIAH 8:20 NIV: The Harvest is past, Summer is ended, we are not saved.
Fast & Pray for the Lost,
Those who have made the decision to walk away from the Lord’s covering & Blessing over their lives.

Results of Loving
Look and live, Gaze and give

Focus on V10-11

1. Bearing Fruit
Growth: you have to be fed, watered, stimulated, accountability (leadership, HS)
Reproduction: spiritually mature. (just like our natural bodies)
Change: Fruit comes from the nourishment of the root. Carnal root= carnal fruit.
Love, Joy, Peace, Longsuffering, Gentleness, Goodness, Faith, Meekness, Temperance.
Sin will stop you from bearing fruit:
Sin of Commision: willfully do what God says not to do. (living together without marriage)
Sin of Omission: willfully not do what God says to do. (get married, be a light, salvation)

2. Knowledge (not the same as Widsom)
Being fruitful will increase your hunger for Knowledge.
Deeper love and understanding of God’s Word. (can you name 66 books?)
Do you know where certain verses are found, or do you misquote them often?
How many of you try to learn a new verse every week? Each month? Each year?
John 8:32 NIV,(they shall know the truth, free) No truth, no victory, just religion.
Able to teach others.

3. Endurance, patience, joy
Gal. 6:9 NIV Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.

Daniel 7:25 TLB He will defy the Most High God and wear down the saints with persecution, and he will try to change all laws, morals, and customs. God's people will be helpless in his hands for three and a half years. (out of context) That spirit is here in the USA leadership today. (I John 4:3)

Endurance: first attack Revelation 2:1-5 NIV, Lost first love, (use note definition)
They had not lost their first love, they abandoned it in the pursuits of earthly responsibilities. The Ephesians were so busy working for God they had no time to intimacy with God. Their focus had been mis-directed. Works based salvation vs Grace/mercy/faith based salvation. Catholocism vs true Christianity.
AD75 vs AD2008 Hermeneutics= beguiling spirit from fresh revelation.
One of the most frequently asked questions that comes up among church leaders had to do with the apparent lack of commitment of members. People will attend church on Sunday morning looking so Pious, yet they fail to live like Christians the rest of the week. Others receive the Lord, baptized, even perhaps baptism in the HG, are excited and faithful for a season. And then they vanish. Or perhaps they still keep coming and never grow beyond pre-school.
That is a beguiling spirit at work in their lives. You should have and develop a natural progression in the things pertaining to the Kingdom of God. (knowledge)
It should no longer be a fight to grow, but great satisfaction to learn verses etc.

Read the title of the message again, Look and live, step one, Gaze and give, life to Christ,others!
How many of you still read Proverbs every morning? Are you still learning from Proverbs?

Patience: Heb 12:1-3 KJV
The Believers life is an endurance race not a sprint.
Isa 28:10 KJV
10 For precept must be upon precept, (precept upon precept); line upon line, here a little, and there a little. (Prov. Saturday 12th, money little by little)

Joy: Gal. 5:1 KJV Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage. (NIV= slavery, Judiasm, religion)

2 Cor 3:6 KJV
6 Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter (Law, religion PDJ), but of the spirit: for the letter(Law, religion PDJ) killeth, but the spirit giveth life.

Gal. 5:18 NIV But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under law.

Religion, trying to live by the law always steals the JOY that is our gift as Believers.
You will live constant failure and repentance. It removes the Sanctification Gift.
You can always tell religious people, baptized in lemon juice, YUCK!

Col. 2:14 NIV having canceled the written code, with its regulations, that was against us and that stood opposed to us; he took it away, nailing it to the cross. (10 books teach the cross)

Gal. 4:7 KJV Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.
Were His children, New Testament joint-heirs of Jesus, no more laws!

Armor of God
Eph. 6:10-18 KJV Prison Epistle

Repitition: There is much repetition in the Chriatian walk and preaching..
We humans learn only from repetition, remember grade school?
Learning new words, countries, states, remember math flash cards?
All repetition it is imparative for us to learn and walk it out.

Eph. 1:3-6 KJV (preface) He adopted us, and equipped us to do battle here on earth
Ephesians were told to Sit, Walk, and finally Stand against the wiles of the devil. This is the last phase of their training. (our training)
Main Text: Eph. 6:10-18 AMP

V10: draw your strength from Him. Not from past battles, (secular world view vs God’s view)
Pauls boasting, 11 Cor. 1:9, 12:-10, Heb. 11:34 kjv

V11: baby Christians cannot do battle alone. Church attendance, hunger for the Word, and humility are invaluable to growth in Kingdom life.

Joshua 7:10-12 NIV, (Israel embraced satanic stuff in their lives)
Knowingly bringing idols, detestable things into your home, or wearing new age sun’s and moons, will destroy your defense. Ignorance of God’s laws are no excuse, we all own Bibles, or have always had access to one. (people laugh at me for teaching the truth, they also laughed at Noah, then the floods came and they all perished)

Whole armor: 7 pieces (complete number)
Heavily armed:
Successfully stand: Sit (learn) Walk (out what you learned) now stand
Strategies & deceits: If you make peace with your sin, the armor will not protect you in battle. (explain make peace) Unforgivness, living in a fornication/adultery relationship, disowning Jesus (no witness)

V12: Who is the enemy? Not flesh and blood but spirits that have gained the right to rule through:
The fall: Gen. 3:19 beginning of Spiritual Poverty, but thru Salvation JC set us free!
Sin, transgression, iniquity, gives spirits authority over lives, areas, territories. (Apostolic authority)

V13 Stand your ground on the evil day:
Work: Ex. 14:13a “Stand still and see the salvation of the Lord!”
Psa. 46:10 “Be still and know that I am God”
Home: Hidden sin is open season on ground already fought and won.
You can bring in evil, sickness and disease that will attack others by your lifestyle/sin.
Entertainment (muse-not to think)

V14a Belt of Truth, belt holds all the armor together, James 1:8 KJV
“A double minded man is unstable in all his ways”. Stand on the Word!
Hidden sin in your life is a Right of Passage for Satan to destroy your life.
“tighten the belt” 2 Tim 2:15 KJV
Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. What is your excuse for not being here on Thursdays for Bible Study?

Read the news, this world is looking for Truth, it cannot be found in politics. The politicans whom you and I vote for, lie, cheat, steal, fornicate, to position themselves for office. Then we expect them to act with morals?

V14b Breastplate of Righteousness/Integrity
Integrity moral rectitude, right standing w/God AMP
Before salvation we were full of self righteousness. Isaiah 64:6 Tells us our self righteousness is as filthy rags before God. Lepers rags full of stinky pus.
The power of the Gospel: Dismantles mans self-righteousness,
Rom. 5:1 AMP. We are declared Righteous! Act like it!

V15 Shod: Horses are shod with correct shoes for the terrain they will work on.
We must also prepare ourselves for the venue of spreading the Gospel.
Studied, fasted, prayed, alert, readiness, dressed for the occasion.
The Gospel is effective when you have tear stained eyes, and bent knees of prayer for the lost.
By living a life of repentance we are armed against temptations to sin,
You need a peaceable and quiet mind, not easily provoked, nor prone to quarrel: but show all gentleness and all long-suffering to all men, and this will certainly preserve you from many great temptations and persecutions that come with spreading the Gospel.

Peace, When we walk in a room, people should feel the Peace of God’s anointing on us.
First: There is Peace with God, reconciliation, when were born again and the barrier is removed.
Second: There is Peace in God, as we learn to grow and trust him in Faith.
Isaiah 26:3 KJV Perfect Peace is who’s mind is stayed on Him, Constantly gazing on the Savior.

Walking in peace is not the absence of the enemy or the battle. Peace is knowing the enemy is defeated!
He still has big teeth and very sharp claws, but he is defeated, why?
“Because the Bible tells me so!”
How many of you are ashamed to take their Bible to work to read on break, or to Starbucks?

V16 Above all. Shield of Faith.
Prov. 4:13-16 NIV Avoid battles if possible (Tim. 2:1-3) Live peacable lives

The Shield is what you hide behind to fend of the firey darts of the enemy. Lies and false insults hurled at you by people influenced by the devil. How many of you know people can be influenced by satan? Even believers.

1 Pet. 1:5 Tells us we are kept by the FAITH. A soldier would not last in battle if he did not have any FAITH in his shield and you won’t either.

1 Cor. 10:13 Tells us the Shield of Faith is the WAY OF ESCAPE, use it!!

Roman Soldiers locked their shields together for greater strength. We need each other! That is why we try to schedule corporate prayer the first Tuesday each month.

V17 Helmet of Salvation
Satan always attacks the MIND first. He attacks with lies, half truths, gossip.
He uses deception, lies about you, maybe what someone has spoken in anger about you that is not true.
1. After a while you listen and he hooks you with the Bait
2. He builds a stronghold in your mind you cannot remove. A stronghold is a fort or a prison. Forts are designed to keep others out. A Prison is designed to keep others in.
Satan attacks the mind with trash AGAIN, AGAIN, AGAIN, AGAIN, AGAIN ETC. He will not give up until he finds a weakness in your ARMOR. IF you watch entertainment with cussing, you will never stop cussing when your mad, you keep feeding it!

He uses RATIONAL Strongholds seem to make sense as he twists the truth. (Python spirit)
He uses IRRATIONAL Strongholds, which do not make sense at all. (beguiling spirit) to draw you away from your devotness to God.
II Cor. 11:3 AMP (read)
Noticd the word “cunning” with reference to the devil. The enemy is subtle and clever to distort your understanding, and most especially, to attack your devotion to Jesus.

2 COR 10:15 tells us, “We must bring our thoughts or mind games captive to Christ. Failure to take our thoughts captive will cause opression. “Oppression”, means to Powerfully Dominate and Manipulate. That is what Satan does to us, if we allow him.

V17b Sword of the Sprit
Rhema, spoken Word of God. It cuts both ways, going into you and going out to others.
RHEMA is the Spoken Word. Spoken Clearly, Unquestionable and to the point.

Have you ever reasoned in your mind that something was ok, you did it, until another Christian who witnessed you, performing the act confronted you, and you realized how wrong it was?

How about speeding in your car, 15 miles over the limit, because ALL the cars are doing it? Then you look in the mirror and you see flashing lights, that is what RHEMA is!

Prov. 2:10NIV For wisdom will enter your heart, and knowledge will be pleasant to your soul.
You can’t speak with authority what you do not know and believe in.

V18 Pray in the Spirit
Tongues: your own heavenly prayer language, (develop it or be left behind)
All manner of prayer and entreaty(to plead as to presuade)
Alert and watch with strong purpose and perseverence
Interceeding
Why are prayer meetings the least attended?
I can pray at home?
I have email prayers?
PDJ’s opinion of the problem is, I do not really believe in prayer down deep. Sometines it works, sometimes it does not. “It is all we can do is pray” Get out of the way people and let God work!
God is not a Coke machine. He if full of Wisdom: yes, no, wait.

I know you have heard all of this before, but I keep

hearing the same thing from the body of Christ.
The same complaints, the same defeats, the non-victorious life.
That is why once again, repetition will win!

Change this time, victory this time,

success this time in Jesus Name!

Resurrection 2008

Easter is not about bunnies or Easter eggs, rabbits do not lay eggs!

Pagan holiday. In second century Europe, the predominate spring festival was a raucous Saxon fertility celebration in honor of the Saxon Goddess Eastre (Ostara), whose sacred animal was a rabbit.

The hare is often associated with moon goddesses; the egg and the hare together represent the god and the goddess, respectively.

Moving forward fifteen hundred years, we find ourselves in Germany, where children await the arrival of Oschter Haws, a rabbit who will lay colored eggs in nests to the delight of children who discover them Easter morning. It was this German tradition that popularized the 'Easter bunny' in America, when introduced into the American cultural fabric by German settlers in Pennsylvania.

Continuance of last Sunday: Palm Sunday & Good Friday

Event: raised from the dead, 3 parts of days later. New clothes/new body.
John 10:17-18kjv JC willingly laid down his life, trusting His Father to raise him back up. This is first and last time.

Palm Sunday/Good Friday

For our sickness and disease

Beating:

In the early morning, battered and bruised, dehydrated, and worn out from a sleepless night, Jesus was taken across Jerusalem to the Praetorium of the Fortress Antonia, the seat of government of the Procurator of Judea, Pontius Pilate. We are familiar with Pilate's action in attempting to shift responsibility to Herod Antipas, the Tetrarch of Judea. Jesus apparently suffered no physical mistreatment at the hands of Herod and was returned to Pilate. It was then, in response to the outcry of the mob, that Pilate ordered Barabbas released and condemned Jesus to scourging and crucifixion.

Preparations for Jesus' scourging were carried out at Caesar's orders. Jesus was stripped of His clothing and His hands tied to a post above His head. The Roman legionnaire stepped forward with the whip, in his hand. This was a short whip consisting of several heavy, leather thongs with two small balls of lead attached near the ends of each. The heavy whip was brought down with full force again and again across Jesus' shoulders, back, and legs. At first the weighted thongs cut through the skin only. Then, as the blows continued, they cut deeper into the subcutaneous tissues, producing first an oozing of blood from the capillaries and veins of the skin and finally spurting arterial bleeding from vessels in the underlying muscles.

The small balls of lead first produced large deep bruises that were broken open by subsequent blows. Finally, the skin of the back was hanging in long ribbons, and the entire area was an unrecognizable mass of torn, bleeding tissue. When it was determined by the centurion in charge that the prisoner was near death, the beating was finally stopped.

This was for our sickness and disease not our sins

Mockery
The half-fainting Jesus was then untied and allowed to slump to the stone pavement, wet with his own blood. The Roman soldiers saw a great joke in this provincial Jew claiming to be a king. They threw a robe across His shoulders and placed a stick in His hand for a scepter. They still needed a crown to make their travesty complete. Small flexible branches covered with long thorns, commonly used for kindling fires in the charcoal braziers in the courtyard, were plaited into the shape of a crude crown. The crown was pressed into his scalp and again there was copious bleeding as the thorns pierced the very vascular tissue. After mocking Him and striking Him across the face, the soldiers took the stick from His hand and struck Him across the head, driving the thorns deeper into His scalp. Finally, they tired of their sadistic sport and tore the robe from His back. The robe had already become adherent to the clots of blood and serum in the wounds, and its removal, just as in the careless removal of a surgical bandage, caused excruciating pain. The wounds again began to bleed.

Golgotha
In deference to Jewish custom, the Romans apparently returned His garments. The heavy patibulum3 of the cross was tied across His shoulders. (75-125lbs) The procession of the condemned Christ, two thieves, and the execution detail of Roman soldiers headed by a centurion began its slow journey along the route which we know today as the Via Dolorosa.

In spite of Jesus' efforts to walk erect, the weight of the heavy wooden beam, together with the shock produced by copious loss of blood, was too much. He stumbled and fell. The rough wood of the beam gouged into the lacerated skin and muscles of the shoulders. He tried to rise, but human muscles had been pushed beyond their endurance. The centurion, anxious to proceed with the crucifixion, selected a stalwart North African onlooker, Simon of Cyrene, to carry the cross. Jesus followed, still bleeding and sweating the cold, clammy sweat of shock. The 650-yard journey from the Fortress Antonia to Golgotha was finally completed. The prisoner was again stripped of His clothing except for a loin cloth which was allowed to the Jews.

The crucifixion began. Jesus was offered wine mixed with myrrh, a mild analgesic, pain-reliving mixture. He refused the drink. Simon was ordered to place the patibulum on the ground, and Jesus was quickly thrown backward, with His shoulders against the wood. The legionnaire felt for the depression at the front of the wrist. He drove a heavy, square wrought-iron nail through the wrist and deep into the wood. Quickly, he moved to the other side and repeated the action, being careful not to pull the arms too tightly, but to allow some flexion and movement. The patibulum was then lifted into place at the top of the post, and the plaque reading "Jesus of Nazareth, King of the Jews" was nailed into place.

The left foot was pressed backward against the right foot. With both feet extended, toes down, a nail was driven through the arch of each, leaving the knees moderately flexed. The victim was now crucified.

On the Cross Here he paid for our sins!
As Jesus slowly sagged down with more weight on the nails in the wrists, excruciating, fiery pain shot along the fingers and up the arms to explode in the brain. The nails in the wrists were putting pressure on the median nerve, large nerve trunks which traverse the mid-wrist and hand. As He pushed himself upward to avoid this stretching torment, He placed His full weight on the nail through His feet. Again there was searing agony as the nail tore through the nerves between the metatarsal bones of this feet.

At this point, another phenomenon occurred. As the arms fatigued, great waves of cramps swept over the muscles, knotting them in deep relentless, throbbing pain. With these cramps came the inability to push Himself upward. Hanging by the arm, the pectoral muscles, the large muscles of the chest, were paralyzed and the intercostal muscles, the small muscles between the ribs, were unable to act. Air could be drawn into the lungs, but could not be exhaled. Jesus fought to raise Himself in order to get even one short breath. Finally, the carbon dioxide level increased in the lungs and in the blood stream, and the cramps partially subsided.

Jesus ended His life by saying, “Father forgive them, for they know not what they do”
To the thief beside Him, “today you will be with me in paradise.”

Despite all the pain and suffocation: Luke 23:46: “With a loud voice, Father into your hands I commit my spirit, and He died”, No one has ever, or will ever, do that again!

I Peter 2:21-25 Jesus was sinless, he willingly laid down His life that you and I would have eternal life.

A true Church
II Timothy 4:1-8 KJV

Ever so slightly, Entertainment and philosophy of man, has crept into the Body of Christ.
Programs have replaced Doctrine. Due to extreme rebellion in the 60’s and 70’s the church has coddled people to keep membership, and that Holy Fear of the Lord or the doctrine of Hell has been watered down or removed.

Religious fear is the opposite of Holy Fear. Holy Fear is deep respect for the God whom gave His son Jesus to be beaten beyond description and crucified on a cross for my sins and yours.
Religious fear: Some so called Christian camps brain wash you into fearing God just to keep your money flowing into their camp.

Fear without God is a faith killer
Fear with God is a faith builder

Prov. 1:7 NIV
7 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and discipline.

Numbers have replaced discipleship. Clubs have replaced prayer meetings, emails have replaced accountability partners.
Numbers equate to money, money equates to larger buildings, larger buildings equate to pride and success.
Jesus never alluded to or equated numbers with success. Matt. 7:13-14 NIV
13 "Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it.
14 But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.

Paul wrote this to Pastor Timothy, before the demon of denomination or disunity had reared it’s ugly head. From AD 312 Satan has successfully divided Christians into camps and interjected false doctrine. Leading them to believe, “they are the only ones with the truth and all other camps are headed to a Christless eternity”.
Some of you have been in those camps in your past, and need hands laid on you to release you from the religious soul ties.
FOA is not one of them. Here it’s about Jesus, and it is about Unity in the body of Christ..

V2 Preaching the Word has been turned into a social event, about the news, or how to become financially successful, or out of, Texas, the pastor has become just a motivational speaker: “how to just live in harmony, think only on the good things, feel good about yourself and treat others well, your life is good, I’m rich, my life is good too”.

Patient, truth filled, teaching is the most solid basis for ultimate success in the ministry (Wyckliffe/Pdj)

V3, NOT endure sound doctrine, 2008 church
Heaven is going to be a great eye opener and a mouth shutter
I fear the rapture will catch the church by surprise

When we started FOA at the Talitas location it was equated to fresh new canvas to be painted.
Broad brush stroke preaching was used to begin the picture to be created.

As time went on more precise strokes had to be applied at the correct location on the canvas.

Hearts had to be patiently prayed over for a softening to receive the truth, John 8:32 NIV “Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free." Free from religion, religious pain, and religious lies of the past. Freedom is healthy and needed in these last days.

As the lines in the painting became more defined, decisions had to be made in those hearts attending the Worship Services. Some choose to believe, receive, and grow, others refused the Holy Spirit’s softening of the heart and choose to reject and run.

We live in the last days, doctrine is rejected, and truth is twisted to fit the occasion.
A dear friend of mine was raised in a church all her life. She told me, quote, “I never heard the gospel in my church/parish, I had to go outside my parish to a true Christian camp, to hear the truth about Jesus, and become born again”.

You want to know why God does not love denominations or disunity?
It forces you to live in a box of set rules and regulations.
Unbelief is the opposite of Faith. Heb. 11:6, “Without faith it is impossible to please God”

The book of Hebrews makes it very plain that God cleaned house of all that old religious order, by the finished work on the cross.
Then systematically man drug all of it back into the Church and called it a denomination, clergy/laity. All the opportunity for the Holy Spirit to have free reign, is kicked out.
Acts 17:28, “In whom we live, and move, and have our being”.

This is one reason I cry out to God to send in a live P&W team. I do not want songs set in stone, preprogrammed to sing. I want a Spirit filled Leader who is sensitive and can move with the HS. And between the songs we can have free flowing gifts of: Tongues and interpretation of tongues, words of wisdom, knowledge, healings etc..

Some of us here with denominational backgrounds have to search out the truth ourselves, in order to grow beyond our past education experiences. We need to cultivate an environment of freedom, conducive to growth, in order to grow to the next level of obedience in God. In order to bring the young Christians up to our level of Love.
Man’s denominational teaching will only allow you to grow to the level of the man.
Most denominational apologists only know the belief thru the cloudy lens of the pastor or teacher and not thru the clear lens of faith/truth.
Phil. 2:12b-13, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.
13 For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.

V3b-4 (read) We are surrounded by churches’ where doctrine is twisted to the point where anything and everything fits in. All beliefs, all creeds, all alternative lifestyles are ok in God’s house. That is heresy!
Paul warned Pastor Timothy and he is warning Pastor David, BEWARE!
Speak the truth in Love; people come to church to get deliverance, not relief,

This generation of young people are tired of being lied to from the pulpit! They want the truth spoke from people who live the truth daily in their lives! Not spineless, watered down, limp wristed, wimpy useless, so called in name only Christians, where your life is more that a silly band worn on your wrist.
A healthy church will set you on the path of healed, not “recovering” on AA, NA creeds.
Sound doctrine with faith will deliver you from addictions, not Dr. Feel good philosophy.
Somebody needs to give God a shout of praise!

V5 But watch, (keep your head in all situationsNIV) beware,
Satan will send in witches, New Agers, occultists, stargazers, horoscope readers to pray against you, send in a hindering spirit to trip you up, and seek to destroy your ministry. It happens every Sunday.

Where is your heart on the canvas of FOA? Have you allowed the HS to soften you and receive sound doctrine, or are you hard, and rebelling when the truth comes forth from the pulpit and it reveals your sin. The brush strokes are becoming more and more defined, painting a picture of sound doctrine, sound truth, in Love.
Jesus is here, God is willing to change your heart, if you will humble yourself and ask him. Tell Him, “Lord I am sorry for trying to have church my own way, I am sorry for putting myself in a spiritual box, quenching the work of the HS in my life. I am sorry for holding onto my past religious experience, and refusing your latest tug on my heart strings.
Please forgive me and change my heart. Soften it, mold it, conform it to yours in Jesus’ name”.

Communion has nothing to do with salvation, (RC lies) it is a command from JC to remember HIM and what he did for us. (John 14:15 obey my commands) (memorial service for what was acomplished on the cross)

This portion is broken into 3 parts:

V1 in the NLT is “son of dust” James 4:14 “your life is but a vapor”
If we lose sight of how filthy our sins are, and how much JC suffered for us on the cross we will become cold, proud, and indifferent toward the HS inside of you.
Education: we have a debt. Salvation is free, We owe Christ for saving us from Hell.
He bought you back from the Devil with his own life.
We are called to work for Him by spreading the Gospel.
The Christian walk is not a free ride.
Matt. 28:18-20 NIV. Not a suguestion, it is a command.
If you love me keep my commandments, (John 14:15). (JC is testing us, do you love me?)
If you do not have a list of names of the lost around you, you flunked the test! It is time to wake up and re-evaluate your walk with the Lord. (professing vs posessing Christian)
A posessing Christian will reproduce and bring others into the Kingdom of God.

What is the function of the Gospel? to Dismantle man’s self righteousness.
What is the Gospel?
1. Man is ruined by sin
2. Man is redeemed by Christ
3. Man is regenerated by the Holy Spirit.

V1-6 We are responsible to herald the Gospel Message to the lost.
We hold the cure to all the world’s problems, it is a heart issue, not a family or parental issue, not a DNA issue making some effemenate, or same sex attraction. Heart issue! It is rebellion against God, “I want my own way”!

Last days William Booth said:
No evidence of being born again (I am marked at work)
No centrality of the cross
Sacrifice and commitment would be down played (church attendance mid-week)
A casual approach to a sacred thing (a list of the lost ones around you)
Everything would be watered down so that Christianity would be acceptable

Only 2% of pastors are preaching on the Blood and resurrection,

Repent, the theme of Jesus last words in Revelation are repent.
You cant be saved unless you repent, you cant stay saved unless you repent daily! (I John 1:9-10) confess daily, say we have no sin in us, we make JC a liar! Written to church!

We have to love them, because there is no love in them.

Jesus is Good News!
If you do not herald the news perhaps you too have grown cold in your walk.
Do not give up: seed, time, harvest! Continue to fertilize and water the seeds sewn.
YOU WILL REAP A HARVEST! Hallaujah!
Today is a new day, a fresh start to ask God once again to warm up your heart toward those who have been duped by the enemy.

The Puritans often said, “You must go thru Hell to get to Heaven”
Does that reflect your testimony and your life?
IF not, lets REPENT now and start afresh!

Abraham & Isaac 2008

Genesis 22:1-18NIV
Theme: Is it a Sacrifice of Obedience, or an Enriched Blood Covenant?

Vs 1. KJV “tempt”, Gen 22:1
The Septuagint (Sep too uh jint)used the word epeirase, which signifies "tried, pierced
through," and Symmachus translates the Hebrew nicaah by edoxasen, God glorified Abraham. Abraham was 125 years old.

Vs 2. Thine only son, First he lost Ishmael, now God wanted his only TRUE SON.
God ordained Viagra Gen. 25 married Ketura, 5 sons!
Land of Moriah, 3 days away. (Mt. Calvary, Mt. Moriah, Mt. Zion, Mt. Olives, others)
(Salem, Melchizedek, 10% 2500 years before the law, office of priest) Rom. 1:19 God in them and on them.

Lots of time for Abraham to re-consider this and back out.
The manner: Offer him for a burnt-offering. He must not only kill his son, but kill him as a sacrifice, kill him devoutly, kill him by rule, kill him with all that pomp and ceremony, with all that sedateness and composure of mind, with which he used to offer his burnt-offerings.

How could Abraham ever look Sarah his wife in the eye again. The one whom finally gave her joy in her senior years.

How could he face the neighbors, the Egyptians, the Cannanites, or the Perizzites, a man whom sacrifices his obedient son.

When God calls you to give up something here, It will cost you. Most fail, and ignore the call of God, and go back to what they were doing (most godly fathers fail in raising their children in the Lord). I have witnessed this all my ministerial years and also in this ministry, so sad. My father taught us the Bible AT HOME!

Vs 3. The steps to obedience are all up hill. He rose early to see the salvation of the Lord.
Abraham prepared himself for the task ahead with excitement!

Vs 5. Abraham was a prophet of the Lord (Gen. 20:7)
He spoke out prophetically Vs 5-Vs 8, “God will provide a Lamb”
Abraham knew, “in the fullness of time” the Messiah would come thru Isaac, and take away the sins of the world.

Vs 9. Isaac also believed and understood his place. Isaac’s very existence was a result of God keeping His Word.
Abraham and Isaac had a very close and personal relationship with God.

Vs 10. We will also be tested (tried and proved), do we love God or do we love the things of this world, and also God. The body of Christ needs a Spiritual Circumcision.
Your reading, praying, evangelizing, and church attendance will prove this out.
Church attendance is a symptom that reveals a deeper problem.

God is no respecter of people, (Acts 10:34) he will move on and leave you behind with your toys, sports, issues.

Vs 13. John 8:56 KJV
56 Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw it, and was glad.
God gave Abraham the vision of seeing ahead to Christ hanging on a cross, across the valley from him, and he rejoiced at the victory.

Vs 15-18. God’s covenant w/Abraham was enriched thru this “proving/ piercing thru”
stars in the sky, (Church, bride of Christ)
sands on the seashore, Millennial people, will live and reign on the earth.
Enriched blood Covenant portion:
Jewish people given authority, possess the gates/cities of their enemies
“offspring” Messiah will come, Jew/Gentiles will be blessed thru the Gospel

These blessings came because Abraham “heard and obeyed”.
Abraham did not have a Bible or the HS to build his faith; he walked it out new and fresh.

Where are you today? You have once again heard, are you going to obey the call?
Are you willing to put your toys of the world away and raise your children or your spiritual children, in the Lord?

Are you willing to spread the Gospel to your family, friends, neighbors, co-workers or disobey God and allow them to sink in their sin?
When we walk in humility, the work of evangelism gets done.

We all have a choice today, God is here and willing to give us is a second chance to hear & obey.

Isaiah 6:1

Isaiah”s Comissioning/Ordination/mandate/refocusing (was yours like this?)

Something had to die in order for Isaiah to “see the Lord”
Isaiah loved King Uzziah, put his:
Hope
Trust
Future
Psa. 20:7 (trust in chariots, horses, we will trust in the Name of The Lord)

When YOU die unto yourself, it will be replaced with a minimum of 2 things:
1. Integrity
2. Zeal
Integrity vs Knowledge = Know about the Bible, but do not know/live the Bible
Integrity is the inner man being changed.
It does not matter how much of the Bible you can quote, devils can out quote you any day of the week! (Most walk around on 2 legs)

Integrity is how you treat:
Your wife and children at home,
The decisions you make behind closed doors when no one is watching!
When you are alone in a motel room, What TV programs you choose to watch?
How you treat a Waitress who came to work with an attitude!
How you treat your mother and your sister.
How you treat a down and out man lying sick in the alley you pass by each day

Integrity is how you raise your children/grandbabies:
If you drink alcohol, some day you may share in their death as a drunk driver.
If you slap your wife, you will share in your daughter in law’s sorrow as an abused wife.
An attention getter: your son may grow up the be the President of the USA. He will do to this nation what you taught him, or he will do to this nation what you did not teach him.

2. ZEAL

Zeal is the energy you expend for the Kingdom of God
Zeal is what you are willing to do above and beyond the normal Christian because you simply cannot get enough of His Presence in your life.

For over 44 years I have been early to Church, because HE IS HERE!
For over 44 years I have been chasing God because I am convinced, THERE IS MORE!

Zeal is the drive to see his FACE once again
Zeal is the drive to feel HIS presence and power move in my life again & again.
Zeal is what makes you get out of bed at 3AM to white down a sermon HE just put in your spirit, or pray for someone.
Zeal is fire in your bones to go and TELL THE NATIONS, “Jesus is coming back soon!”
Zeal is what the 5 wise virgins had in Matt. 25
Zeal is what Peter had when he stepped out of the boat (Matt. 14:28)
Zeal is what John had when he outran Peter to the grave looking for JC (John 20:4)

Zeal is what Jesus had when He said “I go to prepare a place for you” (John 14:2)

Zeal my friend is what will make you go into a crowed room, full of non believers and proclaim the Good News to a dying, lost, hungry, abused people. (funeral homes)

Something may have to die, before you finally see your first vision from God or receive your divine mandate to preach the Gospel.

Vs. 1 His train Filled the Temple:
For Orientals, the larger the robe, the weightier the comission of responsibility. The Lord, was surrounded by His ministers in the temple. Isaiah saw the Holy of Holies in the Temple, possibly Solomons Temple. Prov. 8:30 NIV “He was the Craftsman at His Fathers side and made the worlds that we see. From the smallest cell, to the largest galaxy, and beyond!

What fills your temple? (I Cor. 3:15 our bodies)
Do you just have a nightie or does your divinely mandated responsibility fill your temple.
Is your “Most Holy Temple” inside you filled with the sweet fragrance of God?

Vs. 2 Seraphims (type of angels) were above Him, creatures of blazing fire.
Wings covered their faces: Reverence for The Lord
Wings covered their feet or lower body: they concealed themselves showing their nothingness In Yahweh’s presence
Wings were flying in humble preparedness to do The Lord’s Work

Vs. 3 They were speaking and answering one another:
“Holy, Holy, Holy, is the Lord God Almighty, and the whole earth is full of His glory!”

As Believers, we were given an arsenal of weapons, but praise is the deadliest of them all.
Holy, Holy, Holy gives another hint of Trinity, Triune God in Heaven
From Eternity & thru Eternity these beings never stop worshiping
Power of praise, it is the reason for our existence, God loves to be praised.
When we praise, anything not of God flees, devils tremble shake and flee!

Some of us have erected temples in our lives (pride, arrogance, religion, racism, unforgiveness)
It is not how you were raised, it is how your were raised again in victory in Baptism in Jesus Christ!

Vs. 4 NOISE! SMOKE! (incense, 18 books in Bible)
Most mainline American churches are the deadest place on earth besides a graveyard!
Africa, South America noise!

Vs. 5 Woe (most serious posture possible)
Prov. 11:2 AMP (wings clipped)
True conviction: A deep overwhelming conviction over what I am, not what I have done or not done.
Holiness of life is more important than Holiness of doctrine, (live love not law)

Isaiah was unclean (not a sinner) he was surrounded with heathen Israelites and had nowhere to run for help
John 1:18 “No man hath seen God at any time” and lived. This vision was very vivid.

How is our posturing before God each day?

Vs. 6 Live Coal, from God’s Holy Altar.
Your preaching material, better be from God. Your misquotes from the Bible, better be right before others.
God demands perfection, to influence others about Himself.
Our daily lifestyle is our preaching before others!

Vs. 7 Isaiah’s iniquity (sin, transgression, and iniquity) was atoned (paid for)
God goes for the jugular vein when he does a work?
It cost God everything to be able to take the coal and cleanse our iniquity/sins, by His son Jesus dying on the cross.

Where are you today before God?
IF you died right now, do you have the assurance you would be in heaven?

Maybe you have been a Christian in the past, but allowed your temple to be filled with business of the world, or you have been hurt by a church/pastor and turned your back on God!

Today is a new day, a new season in your life!
You are not here by accident!

I would like to lead you in a prayer of repentance!

God I am sorry for allowing sin to enter your temple
I ask your forgiveness, cleanse the sin from within me
Jesus come and rule and reign inside me once again
I promise to read The Bible and pray
Please take over my life
In Jesus Name, AMEN!
